In the heart of the spectacular Cypress Hills, follow the footsteps of the Northwest Mounted Police who brought Canadian law to the west. A former NWMP/RCMP post (circa 1875-83) was later used to breed horses for the Musical Ride. Xplorers for kids! Guides in period costume, interpretive walks and picnic areas, period furnished buildings, two cemeteries, visitor centre museum, theatre, gift shop and cafeteria.
Additional opportunities for picnics, hiking, trail rides, observing nature. No overnight camping facilities. Look for Historic Trades Day in mid-Jul.
