A former NWMP/RCMP post (circa 1875 - 83) was later used (1942 - 68) to breed horses for the Musical Ride. Take a guided tour of the buildings, Fort Walsh townsite, two cemeteries. Reconstructions of original 1875 - 83 NWMP structures.

55km SW of Maple Creek on Hwy 271. 1,600 acre site in the Cypress Hills. Additional opportunities for picnics, hiking, trail rides, observing nature. No overnight camping facilities.
