Saskatchewan's famous living skies are unforgettable here, at one of the country's largest tracts of untouched prairie grasslands, and Canada's newly designated Dark Sky Preserve. Try hiking, interpretive trails, guided walks, back country and front country camping, and self-guided driving tours.

Wildlife and bird watching enthusiasts will delight in the sightings here; endangered and rare species include the pronghorn antelope, bison, blackfooted ferrets, and prairie dogs. With 500 sq km to explore, Grasslands offers a spectacular nature experience.

Hours of operation: Park Visitor Centre open May 19 to Sep 3, daily 8am - 5pm; Sep 4 to Oct 31 and Apr 1 to May 18, Mon to Fri 8am - 12 noon, 1 - 4:30pm; closed statutory holidays; Nov 1 to Mar 31 please call ahead.
