...or host a festival, sporting event or celebration. From the largest national event to a local village anniversary celebration, Saskatchewan’s community and volunteer spirit is legendary across Canada.

The compelling histories and deep-rooted cultures of Saskatchewan First Nations and Aboriginal peoples are honoured at powwows and colourful Métis celebrations. Saskatchewan’s rich ethnic tapestry is on display at a variety of cultural celebrations, including French, German, Ukrainian, and at major multi-cultural festivals like Mosaic in Regina and FolkFest in Saskatoon.

Saskatchewan also hosts some great music festivals, such as the world-famous Craven Country Jamboree and the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival (see video above).

The crazy energy and excitement at a home game of pro football’s Saskatchewan Roughriders is something you’ll never forget. Embrace and celebrate winter with sleigh rides and festivals. Get some prairie dust in your hair at an action-packed rodeo. In summer, it’s time for rides and cotton candy at a community exhibition.
