On the shores of both Tobin Lake and Codette Lake, Nipawin is your new four season destination for recreation, entertainment, or just getting away from the pressures of everyday life. Nipawin boasts a friendly population, extensive amenities, and world-class recreation options.

Wapiti SkierNipawin in the winter is just as active and popular as it is in the summer. Cross country skiing is a very popular sport as is downhill skiing with ski trails and hills located in the Nipawin Regional Park.

Wapiti Ski Hill is a popular downhill resort located 40 kilmetres to the West.

Snowmobiling is an active winter sport as well. 250 miles of trail are groomed and signed each winter. Special events such as the Peace 100 Snowmobile Rally attract 300+ riders annually.

Rolling Pines Golf & Country ResortExcellent skiing conditions, with a very deep snow base. Skiing will take place until at least the end of March. Approximately 8kms of trails. Trails are challenging with rolling hills.
Torch Valley Country RetreatsAll trails are freshly groomed. With pack and cover, skiing is expected to the end of March. For trail information, call (306) 276-2567

Getting Here

Nipawin is located 141 km (hour and a half driving time) east of Prince Albert on the junctions of Highway 55 and 35, and 274 km (two and a half hours driving time) northeast of Saskatoon, on the edge of the northern forests.

If you are driving from the United States it will take approximately five hours to reach Nipawin from the border. The nearest commercial airports are in Saskatoon and Prince Albert. Nipawin is served by a municipal airport, accommodating both personal aircraft and charters. This is also a major point for float planes traveling to the north with docks and gas services available.
