Tourism Infrastructure Input Questions:

Please note that tourism is defined as travel to the community, lake or destination area from outside the local area. Residents attending events, attractions or facilities in their home community are excluded from tourism. Further, tourism infrastructure for these purposes is intended to be used by visitors to the community and not only local recreation users. For the purposes of this survey, tourism infrastructure does not include roads or highways, airports, or sanitation systems.

Responses are limited to 5000 charcters per question.

1. What are the three most important kinds of tourism infrastructure currently needed in Saskatchewan? Please prioritize these answers with 1 being the most important and 3 the least important.
2. What types of projects should be eligible? Please consider new developments, renovations or retrofitting, environmental or energy efficient upgrades, feasibility studies, etc.
3. Should there be size limitations (either maximum or minimum) for eligible projects? If yes, what should those limitations be?
4. Who (or what types of organizations) should be eligible to apply to such a tourism infrastructure funding program?
5. What factors should be considered in prioritizing projects and who should be involved in the selection of successful projects?
