16km N of Kindersley on Hwy 21 and 10.4km E.
Built 1909 - 11 by English immigrant James Addison, this original sod house was continously occupied by family until 2007. The walls are four feet thick at the base and taper to three feet at the top. Designated a National Historic Site and Provincial Heritage Site, this privately owned home is open for guidedd tours by prior arrangement.
