Located 10km N of the Canada/US border in south central SK, Coronach is a warm and welcoming community that serves as the starting point for the Outlaw Trail between Canada and Mexico and as a gateway to the Big Muddy Badlands.

The local coal mine boasts one of the largest draglines in North America, and this mine serves the local coal fired generating plant, Poplar River Power Station, which produces approximately third of the province's electricity.
