Remote location. Extends along S shore of Lake Athabasca. Aircraft access from Uranium City, Stony Rapids and Fond du Lac.

192,500 hectares, Wilderness Park. Ecologically fragile area characterized by sand dunes, pebble covered surfaces, sand blasted structures, many rare plant species and evidence of native Indian use dating back 7000 - 8000 years. Most northerly sand dune formation in the world; dunes as high as 30m. Check with conservation officer prior to entering the area. No services in park. No user fee.
