250 sq km conservation area located N of Hwy 16 between the towns of Wynyard and Foam Lake.

Globally important bird area features Canada's largest saline lake and endangered species. Over 1 million waterfowl, shorebirds and songbirds. Numerous viewing areas with trails, two nature centres and a large interpretive centre with theatre. Saskatchewan Birding Trail anchor site.
