Humboldt is a Finalist for the Title of Kraft Hockeyville 2009

Canadian’s have voted, and CBC has unveiled the top five communities up for the title of Kraft Hockeyville 2009. Saskatchewan is proud to see that the city of Humboldt is one of the Top 5 finalists!

The grand prize includes hosting an NHL® Pre-Season Game, a CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada broadcast, plus $100,000 in arena upgrades from Kraft. Your votes will decide who will be crowned Kraft Hockeyville 2009! 

Each of the other four lucky finalists will also win $25,000 in arena upgrades from Kraft plus host a CBC Hockey Night in Canada broadcast from their community.

Spot 1: Terrace, BC
Spot 2: Harbour Grace, NFLD
Spot 3: Woolwich, ON
Spot 4: Humboldt, SK
Spot 5: Thetford Mines, QC

Voting has now closed. On March 7, 2009, during CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada, the community to win the coveted title of Kraft Hockeyville 2009 will be revealed.
