"The 15 Wing Armed Forces Day provides us an opportunity to showcase our equipment and people as well celebrate the Centennial of Powered Flight in Canada, a significant milestone in our nation's history," said Colonel Paul Keddy, Commander, 15 Wing. "We are very fortunate to have the whole-hearted support of our community. Armed Forces Day is our way of giving back."
This event will also feature Hawk 1, a refurbished, classic Royal Canadian Air Force and F-86 Sabre, which will be flown with the Snowbirds in communities across Canada to commemorate the Centennial of Powered Flight in Canada. "15 Wing is the proud home of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the world-class NATO Flying Training in Canada Program," said Colonel Keddy. "We are delighted to host this family event and are looking forward to a wonderful day." 15 Wing is located 5km south of Moose Jaw via Hwy 2 or 9th Avenue - look for the 15 Wing airbase signs.
