The Honourable Amédée Forget, First Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Saskatchewan, occupied Government House in Regina from 1898-1910. What type of unusual pet did he have?

Answer:

a) Monkey. The Honourable Amédée Forget and his wife didn't have any children but they had a pet monkey named Jocko. Jocko had free reign of Government House and could be quite the troublemaker. He would play on the light fixtures, which used to be hanging from chains, causing shards of glass to fly everywhere.
