To read the current issue of SaskSecrets, click here.Prairie Women on Snowmobiles to Receive Major HonourIt was recently announced that on February 28, 2009, Prairie Women on Snowmobiles will be inducted into the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame (ISHOF).
ISHOF’s recognition categories include inventors/designers, explorers/adventurers, trail/program developers, journalists/historians, promoters and volunteer/club organizers. This year, the Prairie Women on Snowmobiles club, which is based in Wadena, Saskatchewan, will receive this prestigious honour.
Prairie Women on Snowmobiles, along with 10 core riders, began their Mission Ride 2009 on January 29, 2009 in North Battleford. From there they travelled across the province, passing through 32 Saskatchewan communities and touching many hearts along the way.
