This will be the fourth annual Archives Week in Saskatchewan, made possible with financial support from the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation through SaskCulture Inc. During Archives Week, archivists and archival institutions from across the province showcase the interesting and unique records that reside in their collections. It is during this week that the SCAA and its members interact with people who would have not otherwise considered visiting an archive. They profile the vital role that the documentary records of individuals, families, organizations, businesses and governments play in developing an understanding of ourselves through academic and popular research. There are a number of events happening throughout the province in celebration of Archives Week. Click here to see the complete list of events.
