Equinox to Solstice Excursion – Dog Sled Experience
Join Sundogs Sled Excursions for an exciting dog sled experience. You will spend two days learning to run a dog team accompanied by our guides/hosts, while exploring the edge of Saskatchewan's largest forest region in Canada.
No previous experience is necessary to participate. The Mush & Ski option means that over the course of the trip, in and out, each person has the chance to ski or skijor about halfway and mush halfway. The total distance is determined based upon capabilities of the group. One of our guides/hosts drives the team on every run. The dog team hauls supplies and equipment to and from the camp. Skiers carry a fanny pack or small day pack as desired.
Skiers must provide their own equipment and rely on their own skiing skills and abilities. While we do offer skijoring options, Sundogs guides/hosts are not cross-country ski instructors.
