Nipawin is host to many competitions, including the Great Northern Pike Festival. For over 30 years, the festival has been attracting anglers from across North America to beautiful Tobin Lake, all hoping to catch one of the 40 tagged northern pike with a total prize pool of over $107,000. The 2008 festival begins on June 15 and runs until September 30.
