Urban Canoe Camping - CanoeSki Discovery Company

The South Saskatchewan River winds its way through an agricultural upland as it flows toward the city of Saskatoon, but down in the valley bottom it presents a wilderness-like aura. Plenty of wildlife, few tourists and lots of solitude. These are elements of a well-kept secret that only a few adventurers experience first-hand. 

Join this privileged group by discovering the secret for yourself on this short overnight canoeing adventure. There'll be plenty of how-to instruction on canoeing and camping with the emphasis on safety and enjoyment. Paddling easily with the steady current, you'll have time to relax, enjoy tasty campfire meals, swim in sandy backwater shoals and experience the best of the river's natural attractions on the fringe of Saskatoon.
