Hold Onto Your Hats... Rodeo Season Is Here!

Saskatchewan has a long ranching history, and many communities throughout the province continue to celebrate those roots with rodeos during the summer months.

Saskatchewan hosts some long running rodeo events, such as the province’s oldest rodeo, the Wood Mountain Stampede, happening July 9-11, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year. Saskatchewan rodeos are often made into weekend-long events that also include dances, children’s activities, food, entertainment and much more.
