Falls and Rock Art Canoe Trip - Churchill River Canoe Outfitters
This beautiful canoe route along the Churchill River has been packaged with the beginner in mind, but all canoeists looking for a peaceful escape into Saskatchewan's magical north will enjoy the experience.
You will get to see some typical Precambrian Shield type terrain - granite rock outcroppings, island filled lakes and majestic waterfalls.
You'll camp in some awesome spots on rocky ledges by the water's edge where the call of the loon may serenade you in the evening. You are almost certain to see bald eagles and possibly golden eagles circling overhead looking for a meal of fish.
There are numerous points of interest along this route. You'll experience the power of the Churchill River at Twin Falls and Robertson Falls. You can imagine events of the past when you look at the ancient First Nations rock paintings in Rattler Bay.
Price is per person, based on a trip group size of five or more. Alternate dates can be selected for group bookings. Single bookings are limited to established date. $200 deposit required at time of booking.
