New Mobile Website and Apps

Tourism Saskatchewan was one of the first province/state destination marketing organizations to launch a mobile site early 2010. The site, www.2sk.ca, provides detailed information on some of Saskatchewan’s best tourism products, including parks, road trips, events and more.

Mobile device use is skyrocketing, and we are happy to announce that the newly-designed www.2sk.ca is now available, as is a matching suite of mobile apps for iPhone, iPod Touch, BlackBerry, Android and iPad. 

Mobile users will now be able to access much more tourism information while on the go. New features include site/app search, trip planner, and social sharing. Location-based features include what’s nearby, mapped search results and augmented reality search results – hold up your phone’s camera in a given location, and information about nearby tourism products will overlay on the screen! 

These apps are in addition to our iPhone/iPod Touch app dedicated to fishing in Saskatchewan, iFish Sask.
