All Aboard "The Prairie Lily"
Whether you are visiting Saskatoon for the first time or have lived there all your life, Shearwater River Cruises offers a unique way to see the city…from the river!
River cruises run daily in the summer and conveniently depart from the company's wharf at The Mendel Art Gallery on Spadina Crescent downtown. Passengers will enjoy carefully-researched commentary during this sight-seeing cruise, which will include information about the river, its landmarks, cultural highlights and fascinating history.
In May, Shearwater welcomes a new addition to its fleet, the 65-ton, double decked Prairie Lily. At 64 feet long, this classic style riverboat has the ability to accommodate as many as 149 passengers, is equipped to provide bar and dinner service on both levels, and has climate-controlled cabin areas. Needless to say she is ready to go rain or shine.
Friday evenings feature a relaxed dinner cruise and on select dates throughout the summer entertainment cruises are also available. "The Littlest Showboat in North America" already has a couple shows lined up for the 2012 season, so be sure to get your tickets booked. You can book tickets online or by phone 1-888-747-7572.
Groups can also plan a chartered event onboard. Entertain friends, family, clients or colleagues onboard a dinner cruise or luncheon. Wedding packages are available too.
