Canadian Western Agribition Celebrates 40 Years of Excellence

AgribitionThis year marks the 40th anniversary of the Canadian Western Agribition! From November 22 – 27, agriculture will be celebrated at Evraz Place in Regina, and there is truly something for everyone to enjoy at this great event.

Recently named one of the American Bus Association’s "Top 100 Events for 2010", Agribition is Canada's premiere agriculture show and marketplace, featuring 4,000 head of livestock including cattle, horses, bison and sheep. Visitors can view 12 breeds of purebred beef cattle, including four Canadian National Shows, light and draft horse events, the new Ranch Rodeo, grain and forage exhibits, the International Stock Dog Trials, Agri-Ed Showcase and Rodeo Cabarets.

Team Penning at AgribitionAgribition also hosts the Canadian Cowboys’ Association (CCA) Finals Rodeo, November 24 - 27, in the Brandt Centre. A five performance "sudden death" finals event spread over four days, the CCA Finals Rodeo features the top contestants in the seven major rodeo events plus the top contestants in the junior girls' barrel racing and junior bull riding events, as determined by the CCA season standings.

Agribition also showcases more than 450 commercial trade show exhibits encompassing 200,000 square feet, and features agri-business and technology products and services, western arts and crafts, home and lifestyle products, food products and samples.
