New App for Saskatchewan Anglers

Earlier this year Tourism Saskatchewan partnered with The App Door to launch iFish Saskatchewan, a fishing app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

iFish Saskatchewan includes lake and species information, outfitter listings, regulations and more, and receives over 1,800 monthly visitors. To date, iFish Saskatchewan has been installed onto approximately 1,500 devices.

"We think anglers from near and far will find iFish Saskatchewan both handy and convenient," says Les Holmlund, Online Marketing Consultant for Tourism Saskatchewan. "And, we are pleased to provide this service to our members – yet another way consumers can find out about their Saskatchewan fishing outfitting business."

In October, 2011, Tourism Saskatchewan will be launching a suite of new mobile apps and a revamped mobile site, so stayed tuned!
