Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival Celebrates 25 Years of Outdoor Summer Theatre Excellence!
July 1 - August 16, 2009
The award-winning Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival’s exciting 25th anniversary season will run from July 1 to August 16, 2009, on its beautiful riverbank site in the heart of Saskatoon. Under the artistic direction of Mark von Eschen, the featured productions this year will include the brilliant comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the heart-wrenching tragedy Antony and Cleopatra, both proudly presented by SaskTel.
Also featured at this year’s big event are two Medieval Feasts (July 5 and 26) along with various festive activities on the Community Showcase Stage and guest performances by DancEgypt.
